– Castelfiorentino: first historic village among the hills
– Certaldo: medieval village with panoramic views
– San Gimignano: the “Manhattan of the Middle Ages,” with coffee break
– Volterra: thousand-year-old Etruscan city, the heart of the route
– Pontedera: last stage before returning to base
